Coming to Iceland a few years ago, I thought it would be just for a few months. Especially when I saw some piles of snow… in May … and heard the alien Icelandic language.
Even though I haven’t worked in tourism before, I knew I would enjoy it very much and would use my skills well.
Today, after 3 years of driving buses for GJ-Travel while guiding and acquiring (probably just a little part of) Icelandic language, I switched “to the other side” and work on organizing the tours. I miss Iceland, if I am too long abroad. I don’t mind the snow anymore.
In my free time I try to make the most of it spending time with my daughter. We both enjoy the outdoors in the beautiful Icelandic nature, even when it’s raining.
