You will experience:
- Hot volcanic lava stones
- Oldest lighthouse in Iceland Bridge between two continents
- Black sandy beach where Clint Eastwood filmed scenes in the motion picture Flags of Our Fathers
We ride through the Reykjanes peninsula where we see the Reykjanes tip, the Reykjanes light house and parts of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that lies between the continents of North America and Europe and we drive through the beach of Sandvík, a black sand beach where Clint Eastwood made his film Flags of Our Fathers. We will stop at the old light house, get some hot chocolate, Icelandic homemade twisted doughnuts (kleinur) and glazed cinnamon rolls (snúðar). There is no age limit for passengers, but a driver's licence needs to be presented for the ATV driver.
The tour starts at the ATV base in Grindavik at 10:00, with pick up from Reykjavik at 08:15. You can spend a time in the Blue Lagoon after the tour (entrance not included).
You can select the pick up time when you want to go back:
- To Reykjavík 15:00, 17:15 & 19:00
- To the Airport 15:00

Add 65 EUR for a solo ATV use, to be paid directly with the ATV company on spot

Pick up: Starts at 08:15 from selected accommodations in Reykjavik and the ATV tour starts at 10:00 from Grindavík. You can spend time in the Blue Lagoon after the tour (entrance not included). Duration of trip: 6 hours including transfer. 3-4 hours quad-biking
Included: Pick-up & transport from Reykjavik, 3-4 hours quad biking with two persons sharing a bike and gear.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants (we also have some gear to lend on location). Good hiking shoes are recommended.
Age limit: there is no age limit for passengers, but a driver's license needs to be presented for the ATV driver.
