The guesthouse Eyvindarà has recently open 10 brand new, fully furnished, rooms. All the rooms come with private entrance, tiled bathroom with shower and a double bed. Each room has its own veranda with a great view over Egilsstadir and lush green countryside. Guesthouse Eyvindará offers also 4 double rooms with shared bathroom. Family rooms in unit cottages and one room with seperate entrance by the mainbuilding. Living room and big veranda.
In an effort to make their accommodations more eco friendly, the owners of Guesthouse Eyvindará in Fljótsdalshérað have set up a natural cleaning system which filters all sewage from the guest house. This allows for the complete recycling of rainwater and bathwater back into nature since it has become completely safe by then.
The guesthouse is located in a beautiful wooded area, about 2 km from Egilsstaðir, East Iceland. Lovely view over Hérað Region, Egilsstaðir and Fell from the restaurant that where breakfast and dinner is served.
