Special meal plan:
In order to offer our clients their specific meal requests and diet plans, we need to be advised with your booking!
Transfer:
Transfer from Keflavík airport in to Reykjavik and transfer from Reykjavik to Keflavík airport after tour is not included and will be on individual basis. The Flybus airport transfer bus offers drop off and pick up service at most guesthouse and hotels in Reykjavik. For further information and purchasing the Flybus ticket click here!
Equipment list:
Please be informed that if the booked program is a walking-tour (some entire days are spent walking!), it is important that clients bring the right clothing so they really can enjoy and explore Iceland. There are few proper hiking paths and the clients will be walking over moraine, lava, snow and through streams. We recommend, even for hotel tours:
- Warm clothing, including woolen sweaters and socks.
- Strong trousers or slacks and water and windproof outer wear.
- Rainwear should be waterproof, not just water resistant!
- Lighter clothing such as shorts, T-shirts and bathing suit.
- Comfortable footwear and good pair of hiking boots, well broken in before arrival.
- We recommend also walking/hiking sticks especially for Mountain Highlights.
- We recommend as well binoculars and enough photo equipment.
Baggage porterage:
is mostly not available in hotels or farms in rural Iceland or tourist class hotels/guest houses in Reykjavik and it is not included in the tour price. A good rule of thumb is to bring no more than what guests can comfortably carry between the bus and the hotel room.
Accommodation in Reykjavik:
before and after tour is not included in the escorted grand tour package but can be booked by us: guesthouse or hotel in Reykjavik
Pick up for tours:
We always pick up clients from the accommodation in Reykjavík approx. 30-45 minutes before the tour starts. Please write pick up time for the round trips in your detailed travel program or on your voucher, so clients do not have to worry about when and by whom they will be picked up. After the tour we will drive your clients back to their accommodation in Reykjavik. Therefore we have to know the name of the accommodation in Reykjavik (should it not be booked by us) before and after tour.
Buses:
We have a fleet of 22 Mercedes-Benz coaches, ranging in size from 10 to 62 seaters, as well as specially designed mountain/highland buses.
New service:
Supplement for guaranteed window seat on our escorted coach tours which includes a window seat and next seat remaining empty (passenger gets actually two seats) as well as a pillow and blanket for upgraded comfort. Seats will be reserved in the front area of the bus.
Travel agency:
Our travel agency is open Monday-Friday from 09:00-17:00 throughout the year and from mid June to mid August daily 08:00-18:00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 09:00-12:00. Our staff is multilingual. Our office number can always be used as an emergency address for relatives and friends regarding accommodation address and contact number.

Our travel agency staff is pleased to help you with all kind of services as well as optional/additional tours, horse riding, car rental etc.
