On our tours you'll get to see places just outside many people's walking range and it is a great way to travel.
*
Why use a bike when I can take a bus?
We'll take you to see places bypassed by tour busses and our groups are small. On a bicycle you have time to absorb all the details along the way, because they're not whizzing by. You do not smell diesel fumes, the windows are always clean and the air-conditioning always works.

*
Who will be my guide?
Ursula and Stefan guide most tours. Together they have more than 30 years experience as professional tourist guides / tour managers and storytellers. Bike Tour Reykjavik
Compulsory if you want the real flavour of Reykjavik
I have been to Reykjavik dozens of times, and know it well. But in two-and-a-half hours of easy and virtually traffic-free cycling I learnt an enormous amount more. Ursula and Stefan are thoughtful and knowledgeable guides, and there's nothing like getting information from a resident. We cycled to parts of the city I had never visited, and even saw the modest homes of world-famous people. For someone who has never been to Iceland before this little tour gives a superb insight into the way Icelanders think and behave. It should be compulsory! Rachel, Scotland – Trip Advisor

Fantastic way to see Reykjavik
Despite the weather, our friendly and knowledgeable guide gave us a thorough introduction to the city. We stopped in several key places and definitely learned some fun facts which I passed on to my friends when they arrived. Our small group really enjoyed discussing Iceland with him and he was more than willing to talk with us and in no rush to get back to the harbour. Also, being on a bike in Iceland feels wonderful, breathing in the fresh air, taking in the sites, and mild physical exercise. Highly recommend! Lauren – Trip Advisor

Terrific bike tour
Hello, everyone. I want to thank you for a terrific bike tour--very informative and a lot of fun. Edda was a wonderful guide, and I loved it when she spotted the Faroese men in their hats crossing the square and invited them forward and told us about the relationship between Icelandic and Faroese languages. This was the very best three hours of my two-day stay in Iceland and I will recommend it to anyone (young or old--I'm 64) who comes to Reykjavik and wants something more enjoyable than just a stodgy bus tour. Keep banging those pots and pans, Edda. Thanks so very much! – Bob Crossley, Boston, USA

Best tour ever taken
My goodness was that the best tour we've ever taken! Stefan was born in Reykjavik and with seven degrees of higher learning under his belt, is very knowledgeable and obviously loves to share his country with new people. He took us all over the city, exploring areas of historical, pop, and gastronomical significance. We'd been worried after a morning exploring on our own that we'd have seen everything that Stefan would be showing us. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Stefan took us into some of the nooks and crannies of Reykjavik while giving us an entertaining glimpse into Icelandic history, culture, and politics. – Cubechick, TripAdvisor 10 July 2010.
