HOTEL ICEFIORD, ILULISSAT - WEST GREENLAND

What a perfect location! We started our expedition from here. Hotel has a great view over the Disko Bay with icebergs. Restaurant is very good (there is a also Thai cuisine by a thai cook that is really good). Rooms are simple and sufficient but the views are simply spectacular. It's not everyday you can open the blinds and see icebergs floating past!! Staff is very kind and helpfull. The hotel is fine, and the three star rating they carry is pretty accurate. The advantage of this hotel compared to Arctic is that it is within walking distance to everything in Ilulissat. (These are guest comments collected from TripAdviser)

You have the opportunity to book three different types of rooms. All rooms have one thing in common - the nice touch in all details. They are decorated in a simple style with inspiration from the Greenlandic nature and culture. There are magnificent views to the Disko Bay with the majestic icebergs from all rooms. Along with own shower and toilet all rooms have television and wireless internet access. As of January 1st 2008 all rooms are non-smoking.
