Qaqortoq is the biggest town in South Greenland. Situated near the big lake "Storesøen" with rising mountains in the outback of the city. Many students come here to study, and therefore the town is full of life most of the year. FIFA have decided to sponsor the only Grass covered soccer field in Greenland. Old colony houses show the history of the town, while new big modern houses rises up along the cliff wall, all whit splendid views over the open sea. A real town of contrasts.

Narsaq
A small colourful town with an interesting museum area around the old harbour. Many walking possibilities to the Viking ruins at Dyrnæs and to points of great geological interest. Narsaq is also a perfect place to experience the everyday life in a small Greenlandic town.
Hotel Perlen & Gedebakken are situated approx. 1,5km from Hotel Narsaq and Guesthouse Niviarsiaq is situated only 300 meters from Hotel Narsaq. At Hotel Narsaq you will find the cosy Restaurant Klara, transfer to/from your accommodation to Restaurant Klara is of course provided. All accommodation is operated by a local family, who really makes you feel at home in Narsaq.

We recommend not to book any international flight directly after a trip from Greenland.
